PLATONOV

A multi-layered spatial installation created from a photograph by Andrey Platonov. Artem Stefanov dissects the portrait into layers, thereby making it voluminous and a full-fledged part of the three-dimensional world. The artist embeds the portrait into the urban landscape, replete with perspectives. It's the perspective or point of view that determines whether the viewer sees the entire picture or only its components. In Stefanov's street art, the point of view plays a paramount role in a direct sense.
