The Ufa Boulevard of Glory is designed as a comprehensive, cozy promenade topped by the Salut cinema, which in the past was the center of social life in the area. The cinema is a vivid example of typical late Soviet modernist architecture, which over the years of reconstruction has lost its former function but still remains a focal point for the local community. With the reconstruction of the boulevard, transitioning from one era to another, Artem Stefanov's work accentuates their contrast and declares the necessity of interaction between modernity and vintage. The effect of movement also refers to the very nature of cinema as a medium blurring the lines between reality and fiction in the eyes of the entranced, light-projected audience. Finally, the composition of the drawing, made up of random ornamental elements, literally illustrates a celebratory fireworks display, echoing the ideas behind the layout of the boulevard and its history.
